The Honey Harvest. This was my first harvest in late August 2005. Again this was my first time doing it and had no experience other than what I had learned in Bee School. I was basically winging it! It went incredibly well and was actually kind of mind-blowing to see the honey pour from the gate on the bucket. There was so much honey at one point that the extractor wouldn't turn any more. The harvests for 2005 from one hive grossed about 70 lbs.
